Job Description:

MPS Taiwan is seeking a Supervisor, IT Infrastructure to supervise other IT Infrastructure professional technical team members, as well as leading the IT Infrastructure systems for support and projects.

Key Responsibilities关键职责

• Work in a large global IT team (US, EU, China, Taiwan) as a hands-on supervisor, leads a small (4+) but growing IT Infrastructure and Helpdesk team in Taiwan to well manage Servers, Network/Storage systems, communication systems etc., to support a 300 (growing) user community.
• Manage local IT procurement with vendors, purchasing, users group stakeholders in compliances with MPS policies and using solid relationship management and negotiation skills.   
• Manage Servers, Networks / Storage systems using best IT operational management practices to sustain and optimize IT Infrastructure and helpdesk services.
• Actively plan new initiatives, lead or co-lead IT Infrastructure and Security projects to keep up with business growth and optimal IT Infrastructure performance in Taiwan.   
• Follow through and help define and enforce IT Policy compliances 
• Perform level 2 and level3 helpdesk support tasks, timely escalate and follow up with other IT Leaders in China and US; supports key users in Taiwan, Japan, Korea.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills所需的技能

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology, and Information management, or related degrees.
• 8+ years of experience in supervising an IT team
• Professional certified or equivalent knowledge
• Responsible
• Experience in implementing, managing and maintaining 3 or above IT Infrastructure projects
• Capability to perform standalone work with deliverable outcome
• Good potential of managing team members
• Good people communication skills (English, Chinese)
