Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple teams of product sales professionals to drive the growth and profitability of the GlobeSend product under Transaction Banking.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new clients and deepen relationships with existing clients
- Collaborate with product and relationship management teams to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the team to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and client engagement capabilities
- Monitor team performance, set targets, and implement effective performance management processes
- Represent the bank in client meetings, industry events, and other external engagements to strengthen the bank's brand and reputation
Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven experience managing multiple teams simultaneously within the consumer or corporate banking domain.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating a high-performing sales team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, client relationship management and project management skills
- Experienced in engaging SME clients and proficient in understanding and handling cross-border payments as well as remittance process. Understand the competitive landscape.
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies
- Proficient in using data analytics and sales reporting tools to drive informed decision-making
- Goal-oriented and action-driven, able to deliver assigned tasks on time with aproven track record of success.
