AVP, Marketing & Communications Specialist, DBS GlobeSend
Your mission is to make Globesend become the preferred choice of cross-border payments for individuals and SME globally. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies and managing high-impact events for a new product. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in B2B marketing, digital campaigns, and event management.

Responsibilities:
This position reports to the GlobeSend Head and will be working with Institutional Banking Group Marketing and Group Strategic Marketing & Communications on the following:
Integrated Marketing
- Develop and implement multi-channel digital marketing strategies to drive awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement for the new product.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external media agencies to execute campaigns, content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing and SEM/SEO.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of digital strategies with business goals.
- Providing sales support by developing sales kits for frontliners and pitch books for new partnerships.
- Administer all partnerships and assets for maximum brand/business impact.
Event Management
- Manage event/roadshow agenda, event set up, client invitations and follow-ups.
- Support business development team in negotiating and executing campaigns with partners
Others
- Analyse and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns and events/roadshows, using data to optimise and improve results.
- Manage media agency as well as marketing budget to ensure that there is rigour and discipline in cost control and budget utilisation.
- Lead and coordinate the content submission of Product Marketing initiatives for Internal comms.
Qualifications:
- At least 7-10 years of relevant work experience in Marketing/ Communications, preferably in B2B Marketing and events management.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication.
- Strong communication skills including storytelling and writing skills in English and Chinese.
- Keen understanding of media as well as social media workings and landscape, with exposure to mainstream advertising (print, radio, etc.) as well as experience managing agencies.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of fostering a culture of collaboration.
- Possess a good grasp of current digital marketing tools and strategies, incl. Gen AI.
- Self-starter and dynamic individual who can work in a fast-paced environment.
