Job Purpose

The Sales Governance Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales governance policies, processes, and systems to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the sales organization. The role will work closely with Taiwan's Head of GlobeSend and regional stakeholders (sales governance, HR, product, operations, risk & compliance and legal) to govern sales strategies, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement through effective engagement, from top leadership to the working team. He/she ensures that sales policies, processes, and procedures are designed and implemented to support our sales strategies in line with governance framework within the market. As such, the ideal candidate should possess experience in sales governance/ management in a regulated environment and possess a high level of attention to detail and commitment to compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales governance policies, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Prepare and validate KPIs/Balanced Scorecards for the sales team
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular sales audits to assess compliance with governance and regulatory policies and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Investigate governance-related breaches or non-compliance incidents
  • Provide guidance and support to sales teams on governance-related matters.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as HR, Finance, Risk, and Compliance, to ensure alignment of sales governance with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance sales teams' understanding of governance policies and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in sales governance.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions to improve sales governance processes.
  • Manage and oversee the sales governance team.
  • Establish clear escalation procedures for reporting potential compliance violations or ethical concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Domain expertise in the cross-border payments in Asia region. Strong knowledge of the payments industry and related technologies.
  • Deep understanding of SME and new economy segment and their needs.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales management/governance and business development
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate experience delivering results in an ambiguous and changing environment, the ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Ability to function effectively under pressure in environments of rapid change, conflicting demands, and crisis management and possess creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience in Cross Border payments Industry in Fintech or Banking is a Plus
