Vuori is re-defining what athletic apparel looks like: built to move and sweat in but designed with a casual aesthetic to transition into everyday life. We draw inspiration from an active coastal California lifestyle; an integration of fitness, creative expression and life. Our high energy fast paced retail environment is reflected in the clothes we make. We aim to inspire others to take on all aspects of their lives with clarity, enthusiasm and purpose…while having a lot of fun along the way. We are proud to be an outlet for opportunity and for personal growth and success.
Job DescriptionThe Production Planner is responsible for ensuring the on-time, in-full delivery of bulk garment production. Acting as a key liaison between vendors and the HQ Production team, this role ensures purchase orders progress smoothly from issuance through goods handover.
Based in Taipei, the Production Planner manages detailed WIP tracking, milestone approvals, and vendor communications to proactively identify and resolve risks. The role provides real-time visibility to HQ, troubleshoots directly with vendors, and partners with quality assurance to safeguard delivery timelines and maintain product excellence.
The Production Planner plays a critical role in keeping production on schedule, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the end-to-end production process to ensure timely, complete delivery of finished goods.
What you'll get to do:
- Maintain and update detailed Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports to ensure real-time visibility of order status.
- Communicate daily with vendors to track progress, flag risks, and align on production timelines.
- Coordinate and secure milestone approvals (fabric, trim, samples, testing) to avoid delays.
- Identify production risks early and escalate or resolve issues in collaboration with HQ Production and cross-functional partners.
- Provide HQ with timely updates, reporting, and analysis to ensure accurate production visibility.
- Manage administrative tasks related to production orders maintenance
- Assist in vendor on-boarding and management of factory audits/certifications
- Work in conjunction with Raw Material Planning on x-mill status to support garment production schedule
- Partner with QA and Logistics teams to ensure smooth transition from factory to distribution.
- Develop, implement and continuously refine bulk production processes
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Apparel Production, or related field; or equivalent years of experience preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in apparel production, sourcing, or product development; experience with vendor management preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple POs and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (written and verbal) to liaise effectively with HQ and vendors.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and ERP/reporting systems; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or similar platforms a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively anticipate and resolve production issues.
- Familiarity with garment construction, manufacturing processes, and quality standards is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams across regions.
