The Business Development Director (Drug & Food Supplement)
will play an important role in advancing the company's growth by developing and commercializing its innovative pharmaceutical drug pipeline (Antroquinonol) and expand its Food Supplement business (ProAntro). This role requires a dynamic leader capable of engaging global & regional partners, build alliances and partnership, negotiate deals, and grow revenue streams across both the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Business Development Activities

Drug Business
: Responsible for key aspects of business development for the drug development pipeline, focusing on company's lead compound Antroquinonol, including meeting with potential partners, presenting and discussing Antroquinonol clinical data, develop out-licensing plans, attend international conferences etc

Food Supplement Business
: Promote and expand the company's Food Supplement line across key regions. Identify and develop alliances with distributors and brand owners who are keen to commercialize ProAntro. Includes developing marketing materials, meetings with potential partners and introduce new product lines to the market

Strategy Development & Execution

Drive market analysis and competitive intelligence for both drug and supplement markets to identify growth opportunities and optimize the positions of the products in the key markets. Includes developing Annual and Quarterly activities plan, allocating resources and budgets, set KPIs and deliverables, ensure tracking mechanisms to monitor progress of activities

Innovation & Market Expansion

Emphasize innovation and a growth mind-set in expanding the Company's product lines, new launches and exceptional new products to continuously engage our partners and customers. Build and maintain a broad network of international partners, industry stakeholders and investors across pharmaceutical and supplement sectors. Exhibit strong entrepreneurship in exploring new ideas

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 10 years of Managerial work experience in MNCs Pharmaceutical and/or Health Supplement/Nutraceutical and/or  OTC companies
  2. Proven management and work experiences with direct responsibility for business development, sales management, product management, alliance development and commercialization activities.
  3. Experienced in managing overseas businesses and partners (Europe, US and other Overseas regions)
  4. Bachelors or advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science or related field of study.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin is required
  6. Competencies in developing presentation materials, analytical write-ups, business proposals and other business documents is essential
  7. Ability to work independently with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership
