Department Overview

Nomura's Global Markets department provides liquidity, market insights, and execution services to clients worldwide across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities. The team's focus on innovation and technology provides clients with access to cutting-edge trading platforms and customized solutions. Nomura's Global Markets team specializes in market-making, risk management, and electronic trading, with a strong global presence and reputation for exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities

• Sales support role supporting Global Market Sales desks in AEJ region, across FX, fixed income and equity derivatives products traded by Sales with external clients
• Responsible for end-to-end trade lifecycle, including trade execution support, trade booking, post-trade processing, market monitoring, and stakeholder communication
• Review trade processes, seek streamlining and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and ensure processes are performed in a robust and controlled environment
• Manage relationships with sales teams and trading desks, and business partners such as Technology and global operations counterparts

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or post graduate qualification
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Pro-active, independent and self-motivated
• Good attention to detail
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Candidates with Senior Securities Specialist License are preferred.
