About The Team
The Regulated Entities and Compliance (REC) Group is a global function and a critical enabler of Uber's ability to manage regulatory compliance across its payments operations worldwide. REC plays a central role in ensuring that Uber meets its obligations in all geographies where payments services are offered.
Role
Uber Taiwan-a key growth market for Uber-operates as a regulated Third-Party Payment Service Provider (TPPSP) and plays two essential roles in the payment ecosystem:

- Disbursing those funds to the respective parties in a timely and secure manner.
In response to evolving regulatory expectations and the need for a dedicated compliance infrastructure, Uber Taiwan is establishing a new payments entity, Uber Payments Taiwan (UPT). As the Operations Lead for UPT, you will play a pivotal role in setting up and overseeing the implementation of a robust Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) framework, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements for TPPSPs, and, where applicable, compliance with Electronic Payment Institution (EPI) regulations.
