This role reports to the Director of Asia Developing Markets (ADM) team and is based out of our Taipei office in Taiwan, where we work in-office Monday through Friday each week.

What You'll Accomplish
As a Market Manager, you will be a key driver of the Company's growth in Asia, leading retail sales and distribution efforts with our distributor partners. You'll be responsible for executing winning go-to-market strategies that exceed sales targets and elevate our brand presence. In this role, you will:

  • Manage and optimize budgets for travel & entertainment (T&E) and sales development funds (SDF).
  • Lead the creation and execution of annual business plans with assigned distributors, including marketing campaigns, product launches, promotional strategies, merchandising, and distribution initiatives.
  • Oversee the implementation of sales and marketing programs, ensuring seamless coordination between external partners and distributors to deliver exceptional results.
  • Conduct quarterly evaluations of business plans and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, finance, and other internal teams to support distributor operations.
  • Co-develop consumer touchpoints such as advertising, digital content, social media, packaging, and point-of-sale (POS) materials.
  • Leverage insights into consumer behavior, category trends, and competitive dynamics to drive continuous improvement and business growth (and yourself).
  • Be a key contributor to the overall success and expansion of Wellness Pet in Asia.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

  • Proven success in sales or marketing management, ideally within the FMCG sector
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • a Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand, marketing, or sales roles
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and influence in cross-functional settings
  • Strategic thinking abilities with a hands-on approach to execution
  • Familiarity with sales team dynamics and guiding sales organizations toward business goals
  • Verbal and written fluency in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • A willingness to travel up to 30% and the ability to work flexibly across distributed teams and multiple time zones
  • The ability to commute to our Taipei office Monday through Friday each work week
