Job Description:Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Rack Mechanical Solutions Engineer to join our Custom Design and Emerging Technologies team in Taipei Taiwan. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing next generation data center infrastructure solutions at the server, rack, and data center level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects focused on engineering rack level solutions including IT, Networking, Liquid Cooling hardware, and cabling.
  • Design, develop, and implement methods of testing and troubleshooting systems.
  • Presentation of technical results to Dell leadership and external customers.
Requirements:Essential Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree; or 2+ years with a master's degree.
  • Experience solving complex thermal / mechanical problems from the IT hardware level to the data center level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills presenting to leadership and customers.
  • Efficient in the use of CAD and various simulation software.
  • Deep knowledge of hardware and software interactions, and ability to apply this understanding to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Deep knowledge of Rack form factors, specifications, and industry standards.

  • Familiarity with internal cross-functional teams, ODMs, and suppliers.
Benefits and Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
