Job Role

As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for leading product operations engineering teams. This role plays a vital part in the introduction of new products to the market.

The team coordinates all operational activities to ensure successful launches. It involves migrating hardware and software changes into the production environment in a stable and controlled manner. Additionally, it requires creating build processes, coordinating product builds for release into production, and setting up configuration specifications for releases.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and action plans for new product introduction with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with internal core teams and suppliers on notebook developments.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to initiate and own large-scale projects.
  • Prioritize tasks within and between projects based on critical business needs.
  • Lead extended teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Design and implement functional plans for complex product launches.

Necessary Skills

  • Strong technical expertise in various disciplines and commodity knowledge.
  • Excellent command skills to drive program implementation and execution.
  • Able to communicate and influence across the organization.
