Job Title: Traffic Operations Coordinator

This role is ideal for a professional who can oversee the safe implementation of construction and testing activities, ensuring that all parties involved are competent and certified for the tasks given.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating between construction and testing parties, managing fatigue over varying operation shifts, and providing clear instructions to train drivers and OCC operators.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the Traffic Operations Coordinator will also be expected to establish a roster pattern for train drivers and OCC operators, collect daily activity programs and instructions from the Permit to Work Officer, and support the Senior TCO in managing traffic for all types of rail vehicles in zones controlled by Temporary Operation Organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of safe implementation of construction and testing activities

Requirements:
  • Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or Information Technology degree
  • Technical background – 2 years of wayside working experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
