Product Development Role

This role is crucial to developing and commercializing new and improved products globally, driving growth in the tissue business. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to explore, charter, plan, and execute projects delivering new and improved products.

Key responsibilities include:


• Partnering with global and regional business teams to drive product innovation.


• Leading from consumer insights to rapid prototyping and testing to commercialization.


• Managing complex projects to deliver new and improved tissue products.


• Integrating various technologies to deliver unique product experiences.


• Being an expert in product areas, understanding consumer needs and product performance versus competition.


• Contributing to our ambitious sustainability agenda.

As a key player, you will influence and partner with multi-functional teams to develop and deliver programs/projects aligned with strategies and leveraging competitive and consumer understanding to meet local and business unit needs.

The ideal candidate must be able to:


• Work effectively with global cross-functional and technology teams.


• Plan and carry out project responsibilities with minimal assistance.


• Communicate and document project plans and results to key stakeholders.


• Develop robust timelines, budgets, and resource forecasts.

Basic qualifications include:


• A Bachelor's or advanced degree in a related scientific field or engineering discipline from an accredited college or university with experience in technical assignments.


• Experience in global product development.


• Ability to build and foster global relationships.


• Extensive project management experience, preferably with global projects.


• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within required time frames.


• Strong product design/development experience and proven ability to translate consumer needs into product proposals.


• Strong Technical Curiosity: generating ideas and championing consumer and brand interests with good technical knowledge.


• Strong verbal/written communication and influencing skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

Good technical mastery across multiple technologies relevant for IFP dry tissue and formulated products.

Has experience working with external contract manufacturers.
