Quantitative Trading Internship

Intern Role

As a Quantitative Trading Intern, you will spend your summer working on complex problems in quantitative trading. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will apply your strong analytical skills to design, develop and enhance innovative trading strategies.

  • You will gain a deep understanding of the quantitative trading industry by tackling challenging problems and projects.

Key Activities:

Lectures and Coursework

You will complete a curated series of lectures and coursework on trading fundamentals, including topics such as options pricing, financial markets, trading strategies and cutting-edge technology.

Simulated Trading Environment

Applying your knowledge in a simulated trading environment, you will trade options using live market data for a realistic hands-on experience.

Algorithmic Trading Strategy Development

Analysing real historical data, you will develop your own algorithmic trading strategy and backtest to see how it performed.

Who You Are

We're looking for lateral thinkers with a passion for quantitative problems and working in collaborative environments.

Strong quantitative and logical reasoning skills are required, along with an interest in strategic games and/or competitive activities.

Programming or scripting experience in Python is a plus.

May have an interest in trading or financial markets.
