We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Climate Change and Sustainability Manager in the Financial Services Industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and executing multi-year ESG strategies, including Net Zero strategies, decarbonization, and transitioning to a low-carbon economy.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in developing analytics and solutions that help them detect, monitor, and predict ESG risks, including climate and social risks. This includes implementing international guidelines such as TCFD, SBT, SROI, and ISO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute various sustainability-related consultations, including implementing international guidelines.
- Assist clients in developing strategies for international and domestic ESG rating improvements.
- Review sustainability reports and provide ESG-related consultation.
- Perform assurance services on selected ESG subject matters.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 5 years of experience in EH&S-related fields.
- A strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Strong research, analytical, and report writing skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Team player, self-motivated, and proactive attitude.
- Excellent Chinese and English communication and writing skills.
- Foundational knowledge in sustainability and application of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), SASB, TCFD, GHG quantification.
