The Sales Head will be the key leader responsible for driving the growth of the business in Taiwan. This individual will be tasked with formulating sales strategies, leading team of 15+, identifying new business opportunities, and optimizing the current client portfolio. The role will also focus on maintaining strong client relationships and maximizing the team's potential to achieve revenue goals.

Team Structure:

  • Reports to: Managing Director
  • Leads:
    • BD Team: 5-7 members
    • AM Team: 5-7 members
    • SME Team: 4 members

Key responsibilities include:

Develop and Implement Sales Strategy
  • Create and execute a sales strategy that drives revenue growth and meets business targets in Taiwan.
  • Identify new market segments and collaborate with the product and marketing teams to create tailored solutions.
  • Participate in the development of long-term business plans and ensure their execution through quarterly and annual sales action plans.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy and Business Excellence Team to design sales incentives that keep the team motivated.
Lead and Manage Sales Teams
  • Recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Mentor and motivate the team to master selling techniques and foster a culture of accountability and urgency.
  • Set clear sales targets and create a high-performance culture aimed at rapid growth.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance through CRM tools like Salesforce to ensure sales activities and targets are met.
Drive New Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients, ranging from small to large enterprises.
  • Present and propose product solutions to prospective clients, highlighting the value they bring.
Account Management and Customer Support
  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Work closely with Business Development, Account Management, and Servicing Teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client support.
Revenue Growth
  • Lead the team to meet aggressive sales targets while adjusting strategies to maximize key account performance.
  • Work with the Strategy & Business Excellence Team on pricing policy and look for ways to maximize profitability.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting
  • Track and report sales performance metrics to senior management.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline reports to support business decisions.
Market Analysis
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Provide insights to guide product development and marketing strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, customer service, merchant, and product teams to ensure alignment and deliver a seamless customer experience.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 12+ years of sales experience in B2B, SaaS software, or digital products, with at least 6 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets by executing business strategies from end to end.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in coaching teams to secure deals, manage pricing, and finalize contract terms.
  • Proficient in a data-driven sales approach, managing complex corporate structures, and handling multiple stakeholders.
  • Experienced in using CRM tools (Salesforce) for pipeline management and team performance tracking.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire both senior and junior sales managers.
  • Proven ability to build and retain top talent, creating high-performing teams.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working with senior executives and multiple departments.
  • Excellent understanding of P&L structures, deal probabilities, and business terms.
  • Entrepreneurial, ambitious, and sales-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills across departments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
