We are hiring for one of our ecosystem projects—an innovative startup in the incubation stage, dedicated to revolutionizing AI matching and user profiling through advanced machine learning technologies. Their goal is to create unparalleled user experiences by matching individuals based on a nuanced understanding of their needs and preferences.

We are looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) or Founding Research Engineer to lead their research, development, and mobile engineering efforts, particularly in facial recognition. The CTO will work closely with the founder to set the tech vision, strategy, and roadmap, driving the company toward technological leadership in the dating app sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct R&D and mobile development efforts, including facial feature extraction, recognition, and matching algorithms.

  • Work with the founder to define the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Oversee mobile app development, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

  • Stay at the forefront of advancements in:

    • Mobile engineering best practices (iOS/Android, cross-platform frameworks, performance optimization).

    • Facial recognition technologies (CNNs, YOLO, SSD, FaceNet, ArcFace, etc.).

  • Solution Development: Oversee the design, development, and testing of scalable solutions, including:

    • Advanced user profiling via facial features, emotion recognition, and demographic estimation.

    • Real-time facial analysis algorithms.

  • Ensure R&D and mobile projects meet business objectives and adhere to timelines.

  • Integrate technological advancements into product offerings, collaborating with product and marketing teams.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory with strong experience).

  • Proven experience leading mobile development teams (iOS/Android or cross-platform).

  • Demonstrated success in leading R&D or engineering teams, preferably in startups (social/dating apps a plus).

  • Strong expertise in system architecture, mobile development, and machine learning.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Python, C++, Swift, Kotlin, or similar languages.

  • Experience with mobile frameworks (Flutter, React Native, or native development).

  • Knowledge of secure system design and data handling practices.

  • Innovation & Problem-Solving: Track record of innovating in system architecture and technical solutions.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to engineers and stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in AI/ML, particularly facial recognition (CNNs, YOLO, FaceNet, etc.).

  • Background in ethical AI, reducing bias in facial recognition algorithms.

  • Familiarity with generative AI, NLP, or stable diffusion methods.

  • Experience in web3 or blockchain-integrated applications.
