Our Taipei Development Center (Taipei, Taiwan) is looking for a Senior Program Manager to work on RUCKUS One, an AI-driven network assurance and business intelligence platform that simplifies the management of complex converged multi-access networks. RUCKUS One empowers businesses with actionable insights and optimized network performance for exceptional user experiences. This role is crucial for ensuring on-time, high- quality, within-budget project delivery, and driving continuous improvement in our program management practices.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, team-oriented, results-oriented individual with a proven track record of managing complex cloud /network software development projects with geographically distributed teams.
How You'll Help us Connect The World
You will be responsible for:
- Program Management:
- Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, including scope, dependencies, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams. Lead project execution within the program, ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
- Communicate status and issues to management in a timely manner.
- Drive to closure program issues related to day-to-day activities among multiple programs.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to track
project
progress, manage tasks, and generate regular status reports. - Track, update, and monitor customer statistics on escalations, patch releases, and release schedules.
- Tactical focal point for all project-related activities.
- Host, organize, and participate in project meetings and conference calls, record meeting minutes and actions.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams located both locally and in other time zones, fostering collaboration and effective communication. This includes managing dependencies and resolving conflicts. - Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders .Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management and other relevant parties. Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their needs are met. - Process Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement in program management processes and best practices within the team.
Required Qualifications for Consideration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in managing complex software engineering development and software engineering programs with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing SaaS/PaaS projects
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrable experience leading cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
- High degree of flexibility and adaptability and conflict management capability.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills in English.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, Negotiation and risk management skills.
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and politically astute.
- Energetic, action-oriented ,detail-oriented, results-oriented and well organized.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Scrum Master experience is a plus
