Role Overview

As a
Network Engineer
, you will:

  • Design and manage network architecture, support projects, and troubleshoot daily issues.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the team to overcome challenges, grow together, and ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing financial technology services for our clients.

As part of the
IT Infrastructure team
, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and managing network equipment such as Firewalls, Load Balancers, Switches, and Routers.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning network performance.
  • Performing upgrades, updates, and testing of network devices.
  • Supporting both day-to-day operations and project-related setup and configurations.
  • Writing and maintaining SOPs for network management.
  • Researching and evaluating new technologies and providing optimization and improvement plans.
  • Acting as technical support to assist IT Helpdesk colleagues with incident resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum
    3 years of relevant experience
    as a Network Engineer.
  • Proficient in
    BGP, OSPF
    dynamic routing design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with
    Cisco, F5, Fortinet, and Palo Alto
    products.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless network setup and management.
  • Open-minded, eager to learn new technologies and applications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Holder of
    CCNP certification
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Python
    programming is a plus.
  • Experience with
    Linux operating systems
    is a plus.
  • Experience in the
    banking or securities industry
    is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in building a
    Data Center from the ground up
    .
  • Knowledge of private/public cloud platforms such as
    OpenStack, VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP
    .
  • Familiarity with incident response processes and
    SLI/SLO/SLA, RTO, RPO
    standards.
