About The Business
Domestic tax laws are constantly evolving and becoming increasingly complex. At the same time, the internationalization of businesses is rapidly advancing. In response to the ever-changing business environment, transaction models are continuously adjusted, leading to various uncertainties regarding the application of tax laws. In this process, Deloitte will assist clients in understanding the potential impact of each tax issue on their business and how to respond in a timely and appropriate manner. This ensures that tax disputes do not become obstacles to business growth and operations, while also helping companies stay on top of key tax concerns.

Work You'll do

  • Tax attestation services for subsidiaries and branches of foreign companies in Taiwan, as well as large listed Taiwanese companies, including VAT input tax audit attestation.
  • Tax advisory services for foreign and local enterprises, including transfer pricing project review.
  • Tax advisory for M&A transactions and tax due diligence.
  • Applications for tax incentives and reduced withholding tax rates (e.g., royalty exemptions, contribution-based reductions, Article 25 of the Income Tax Act, deferral of compensation tax).
  • Assisting foreign and large listed Taiwanese companies in preparing transfer pricing documentation, country-by-country reports, and master files.
  • Investment and equity structure planning for SMEs and Taiwanese companies preparing for IPO.
  • Individual and family succession tax planning and advisory.
  • Estate and gift tax consulting and filing.
  • Tax advisory and compliance related to Controlled Foreign Company (CFC) regulations.
  • Tax administrative remedy services.

Requirements

  • A degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related business fields.
  • Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • No experience required; experience in auditing or tax-related work is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Optimistic, proactive, creative, with strong communication skills and a high level of interest in learning.
