Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Mandarin OPI/VRI Interpreter. The Interpreter will facilitate communication between Mandarin-speaking clients and English-speaking individuals by providing accurate and effective interpretation services. Daily tasks include handling over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI), ensuring confidentiality, and delivering high-quality services. The role also involves participating in training sessions and staying updated with industry practices.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Experience with over-the-phone and video remote interpreting is a plus
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Comfortable working with technology and remote communication tools
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Advanced degree or certification in Interpretation or related field is a plus
