Role Description

This full-time remote role involves providing Mandarin Over-the-Phone (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) services. The interpreter will assist clients by accurately and efficiently translating spoken language in real-time. The role requires handling multiple interpretation sessions, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring confidentiality. Additionally, interpreters will manage client expectations and adapt to various communication needs across diverse settings.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written)
  • Strong interpretation skills with the ability to handle OPI and VRI sessions is a plus
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
  • Familiarity with using interpretation software and tools is a plus
  • Professionalism and adherence to confidentiality protocols
  • Experience in related fields such as customer service or translation is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant certification in interpretation is preferred
