The Global HRIS Senior Specialist or Associate Manager plays a critical role in driving the operational efficiency and strategic utilization of the global HR Database (HRDB), SAP SuccessFactors and HR BI. This role partners closely with HR COE team-members and site HR teams to ensure alignment between global and local HR systems and supports the design, implementation, and optimization of HR modules including Employee Central (EC), Compensation, Performance & Goals (PMGM), and Talent Management(Succession or Talent Intelligent).
The incumbent will also contribute to the enhancement of analytics capabilities through Power BI and collaborate with the Center of Excellence (COE) to maximize system utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- HRDB & Local HCM Synchronization:
- Collaborate with site HR teams, IT & SF Consultant to align and synchronize local HCM systems with the global HRDB and SAP SuccessFactors EC.
- Monitor data integration accuracy and ensure consistency of employee data across systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and system integration issues.
- Compensation Module Implementation & Analytics:
- Support the HRIS Team Leader in finalizing the global compensation module configuration and deployment within SuccessFactors & Power BI.
- Coordinate data preparation, user testing, and go-live activities for the compensation module.
- Assist in building dashboards and reports using Power BI for compensation analysis and strategic decision-making.
System Enhancement & Module Expansion:
- Continuously study and research the market trends/best practices to identify improvement opportunities for SAP SuccessFactors modules (EC, Compensation, Performance Management, Succession/Talent Management).
- Prepare enhancement proposals, document functional requirements, and support module upgrades or new feature rollouts.
- Liaise with system vendors, IT, and implementation partners as needed for enhancements.
- Global HRDB Utilization & COE Support:
- Work with the HR COE to drive consistent usage and adoption of the global HRDB.
- Analyze system usage metrics and propose user training, interface improvements, or automation solutions.
- Assist in global initiatives to harmonize HR processes supported by HRIS functionalities.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS (and/or C&B) roles, preferably in a global manufacturing or multinational organization.
- 3+ years of practical experience in database architecture and operational principles
- Proven experience in data integration, system enhancement, and HR analytics (Power BI preferred).
- Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors (preferred, such as Employee Center, Compensation, PMGM, and Succession modules)
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills (problem-solving effectively and providing insightful recommendations during the data verification process) and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage cross-functional global projects.
- Proficient in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel). Proficiency in SQL will be a plus.
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in a multicultural and matrixed organization.
