We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of HR for our Taiwan Business Unit. This role will be pivotal in supporting our growth and transformation, focusing on aligning HR strategies with business objectives while ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR management, particularly in scaling organizations and driving business transformation initiatives.

This role is responsible for:

Human Resources:

  • Provide leadership and direction for all HR activities in the Country. Translate global and regional strategy into country specific needs and owns local implementation of HR programs and activities; and ensure a sound HR service delivery.
  • Act as a Business Partner and Coach to the People Managers in providing the needful HR support and facilitation.
  • Lead HR initiatives that facilitate business transformation, ensuring that HR practices are agile and responsive to changing business dynamics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive change management processes and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Provide & execute sustainable HR business solutions to enable Business to achieve the goals required (individual resourcing, talent development, Compensation and Benefits, Learning & Development)
  • Adapt and implement HR policies to align with local regulations as well as Global strategies to plan, attract, develop, and retain talents.
  • Engage internally with functional leaders and externally with appropriate associations/HR service providers/ Training institutions with sounded stakeholder management in providing HR trends, advice and guidance on all HR topics (i.e. local labour regulations, organizational and people-related strategy)
  • Manage employee performance, including performance review, performance improvement, and possibly redundancy/termination execution.
  • Define/implement/monitor the rules and procedures for talent management (recruitment, performance evaluation, compensation planning and career development) in accordance with Group procedures.
  • Initiate regular awareness raising and training actions to employees for functional or behavioural contents.
  • Drive People & Talent Strategy including Diversity & Inclusion, Employer Branding, Universities Relations, Talent Development and Employee Engagement.
  • Lead the annual HR budget exercise and headcount planning.
  • Ensure delivering of monthly payroll and other insurance/renumeration to employees.
  • Ensure proper management of employee data/ records and HRIS system.
  • Conduct quarterly employee meeting to ensure clear communication to employees.
  • Prepare monthly and annual HR Metrics
  • Coordinate with regional or global HR team with various projects and ensure alignment with project timeline and relevant policies.

Workplace, Health & Safety:

  • Ensure office operation/administration are well managed.
  • Responsible for the Occupational Safety and Health Management and running of EWC
  • In charge of CSR and internal communication activities and reporting
  • Lead the company wide yearend party organization.

YOUR PROFILE

·       Master's degree in Human Resource, Psychology or business related

· years of relevant work experience in international organization interfacing with executives

· years of people management experience

·       Excellent communication with senior leaders, peers and staff in multicultural environment

·       Strong knowledge of human resource knowledge and local labor law

·       People orientated with result driven mindset

·       Proven experience as HR generalist or HR business partner

·       Experience in office management is a plus

·       Curious and hands-on (roll up your sleeves), collaborative style of working.

·       Passionate and able to bring energy and enthusiasm to the job and organization.

·       Proactive attitude and desire to work in a results-oriented environment.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·       Excellent communication

·       High efficiency and able to multitask.

·       Confidence and independence to express opinions to global, regional and local management

·       Open minded, ability to review various ideas
