Your Role
As the Engineering Manager for the Klebosol plant, you will oversee all engineering activities with a primary focus on process engineering. Your responsibilities will include daily inspections of facilities and utilities to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting and Oversight:

• Report directly to the Plant Director regarding all engineering tasks related to the plant.

• Training and Knowledge Acquisition:

• Participate in training abroad during the Detailed Design Engineering stage to gain in-depth knowledge of Klebosol production processes, supporting the design of production processes, facilities, and utilities.

• Project Tracking:

• Track and report on the status of assigned projects to ensure timely progress.

• Engineering Systems Leadership:

• Serve as the focal point for engineering systems related to the Silica business for the Dragon project in Taiwan.

• Process Engineering Focus:

• Concentrate on Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) activities to enhance product quality, variability, and plant efficiency. Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) to drive process improvements, improve CpK, and reduce variability.

• Root Cause Analysis:

• Lead plant-level investigations of customer performance excursions to identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions.

• Maintenance Management:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance management system across the plant.

• Team Development:

• Foster personnel and team development to ensure sustainable growth. Build an engineering team with appropriately experienced engineers.

Collaboration
You will interface with:

• Managers and employees at the Klebosol plant.
• Project team members, including the Jade Engineering and Operations teams.
• Cross-functional teams within organisation
• Procurement teams.
• Vendors and suppliers related to engineering tasks.
• Managers and employees at the Klebosol plants in the US and France.

Who You Are
In this role, you will acquire skills in Klebosol process engineering and related technologies for facilities and utilities. As the Engineering Manager, you will ensure the efficient operation of production processes while maintaining well-controlled facilities and utilities.

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the chemical industry, including a minimum of 3 years in a people management role.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience in the maintenance and optimization of chemical and mechanical systems within chemical manufacturing. Familiarity with equipment reliability and mechanical integrity in chemical plants.
• Data Analytics: Experience in data analytics and programming is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required for effective communication, enabling discussions with engineers at our other plants and technical leaders in the US and France.
