Taipei Taipei City, Taiwan Allianz Global Investors Full time NT$60,000 - NT$120,000 per year

Join us. Let's care for tomorrow.
At Allianz Global Investors we foster a culture of professionalism, fulfilment, and an inclusive working environment. Do you want to be part of a leading active asset management company? Then join us now as Business Analyst in Taiwan within the Business Enablers Technology team.

This role is ideal for someone who brings deep expertise in the Microsoft 365 Power Platform suite - including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, and has a solid understanding of various automation technologies, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and other low-code/no-code tools.

You will act as a connector across AllianzGI's technology landscape, linking systems, teams, and data flows to identify and deliver impactful automation and integration opportunities.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on translating complex technical capabilities into meaningful business outcomes and can bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.

What You Will Do

  • Business Analysis & Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for automation and digitalization initiatives.

  • Evaluate proposed designs from vendors and challenge them where necessary to ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards.

  • Governance & Policy Alignment:

  • Collaborate with the Platform Owner and governance teams to define and implement governance frameworks for Power Platform solutions, including security, data loss prevention (DLP), and access control.

  • Ensure that all vendor-delivered solutions comply with AllianzGI's IT policies, regulatory requirements, and platform governance standards.
  • Monitor and validate vendor adherence to governance controls throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Maintain clear documentation of governance decisions, risk assessments, and compliance checkpoints to support audit readiness and operational transparency.

  • Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Act as a central point of contact between business users, governance teams (e.g., Security & Resilience, IT Compliance), and external vendors.

  • Ensure that governance, compliance, and security requirements are incorporated into solution designs from the outset.

  • Technical Awareness & Advisory:

  • Maintain a strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and broader automation technologies (e.g., RPA, low-code tools, MS 365 ecosystem).

  • Provide informed input during design discussions and vendor evaluations to ensure technical soundness and alignment with AllianzGI's standards.
  • Actively support and promote the responsible use of Power Platform by citizen developers, offering guidance on best practices, governance compliance, and solution design.
  • Collaborate with the Platform Owner to foster a community of practice, share reusable components, and encourage innovation through low-code/no-code development.
  • Stay updated on platform developments and industry trends to advise on continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Vendor Management & Oversight:

  • Serve as the primary interface between AllianzGI and external vendors for Power Platform solution delivery.

  • Critically assess vendor proposals and deliverables, challenging assumptions, technical designs, and implementation approaches to ensure alignment with business needs, platform governance, and architectural standards.
  • Ensure vendors adhere to agreed timelines, quality benchmarks, and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate transparent communication, issue resolution, and continuous improvement in vendor performance and collaboration.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in IT Business Analysis with a focus on low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Strong hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and integration capabilities (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Azure).
  • Knowledge of governance and security best practices in Power Platform.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with data modelling, APIs, and connectors.
  • Background in financial services or asset management is a plus.
