This position is accountable for managing moderate size and complexity project orders for RAC APAC Fast Track Solutions Team from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget.

This includes initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing of customer projects. 

The role requires to confirm customer requirements which includes drawings, specifications, job site requirements, bill of material alignment with specifications & clarify exceptions. 

Manages complete job process from order preparation, through manufacturing release, product shipment, post shipment support and financial reconciliation utilizing a base knowledge of Schneider Electric products and their uses.

Responsibilities

• Acting as SE's representative within the contractual terms applicable, this role is to direct, co-ordinate and supervise assigned projects with the Project Team.
• The Project Manager will oversee and provide day-to-day direction for a team of Consultants, engineering team and Contractors.
• The Project Manager will ensure that SE briefs, designs, specifications and relevant information are made available to, and are executed as specified with due regard to cost and time by, the Design Team, Consultants, General contractor, Contractors, etc. (i.e. the Project Team), so that SE objectives are fully met.
• The Project Manager will maintain control of project schedule, budget and risk issues. This responsibility also includes facilitating timely decisions to maintain Project schedule and budget, as well as provide senior management with regular project updates, identify project risks early, and communicating prudent and timely recommendations for risk avoidance.

Job Responsibilities

1. The Project Manager duties would include, but not be limited to:
2. Responsible for the preparation and application of the Project Execution Plan.
3. Monitor and control the progress and development of all related project deliverables through the various stages of the project in accordance with the SE's policy.
4. Lead Project Management teams.
5. Provide expertise, guidance, advice, support and motivate project teams.
6. Report to senior management via meetings or by regular written reports the progress of related project matters together with the status of related issues.
7. Manages routine client interaction.
8. Sets and manages client expectations.
9. Manage and prepare all reporting activities required for the Project Stakeholders.
10. Attend meetings as required to ensure the compliance with the overall project standards, procedures and requirements.
11. Ensure that projects for which you are responsible are delivered on time, on budget and to the prescribed standards.
12. Ensure the prompt delivery of all project deliverables.
13. Find resolution to and preempt problems during the various stages of the project.
14. Communicates effectively with client to identify needs and evaluate alternative Project solutions.
15. Assistance in the selection of the contractor as well as in the negotiation of their terms and conditions of engagement with the Procurement team.
16. Oversee that the review of all relevant submissions are in line with the project schedule.
17. Oversee and ensure that Change Management as it relates to budget, revised design and potential schedule impact is carried out in line with SE procedures.
18. Assist the Design team with design management, design coordination and design delivery to meet the project schedule.
19. Work and liaise with the Design team on project matters, and also initiate value engineering initiatives to ensure that the project develops within the recognized cost and time constraints. Regularly inspect the progress of the work on site and provide guidance to the project team on best practices and potential efficiencies on scheduling and processes.

20. Assisting the Head of Project Management as directed in any other Project Management related activities.

21. Diploma / bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

22. 5~10 years' experience in Project Management in Semi-con, Datacenter and/or utility industry (within the electrical distribution field)
23. Knowledge of Semi-con, Datacenter, utility, EPC Electrical Distribution Systems and local standards
24. Knowledge of Medium/Low Voltage switchgear, HV/MV/LV Transformer and control/automation, including site works (installation, testing & commissioning and integrated test).
25. Proficient in planning tools (e.g. MS Project)
26. Knowledge of functional Management with a multi-jobs team
27. Reporting at the good level and frequency
28. Customer Relation Management
