Job Description

  • Collaborate closely with partners across the PC ecosystem to design and deliver next-generation touchpad solutions for notebook applications.
  • Provide strategic leadership and long-term planning for a portfolio of touch, sensing, and haptic technologies tailored to the PC market.
  • Translate OEM requirements into clear, actionable product specifications that guide development efforts.
  • Own and evolve the product roadmap for Touch, Sense, and Haptics ICs, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
  • Continuously monitor industry developments and competitor innovations in haptics and sensing to inform product strategy.
  • Define go-to-market strategies and business models that accelerate adoption of advanced touchpad technologies, including partner identification and supply chain optimization.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including OEMs, ODMs, module vendors, and other ecosystem players.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product execution and market launch.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management within the semiconductor industry, with a focus on mixed-signal, touch, sensing, or haptic technologies.
  • Proven track record in developing and launching PC touchpad solutions from concept to commercialization.
  • Strong technical understanding of capacitive and force sensing, haptic feedback systems, DSP, and actuator control (e.g., LRAs or VCMs).
  • Demonstrated success in working with OEMs, ODMs, and leading cross-functional teams across engineering, marketing, and sales.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic decisions.
