Role Overview 

Global Vendor Sourcing & Expansion

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic global vendors across key categories.
• Develop and execute vendor sourcing strategies aligned with business goals and market dynamics.
• Lead negotiations and contracting processes to ensure optimal cost, quality, and service levels.
• Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing operations.

Category Strategy & Market Intelligence

• Analyze global market trends and category dynamics to inform sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with merchandising, planning, and finance teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Develop long-term category plans that balance cost, quality, speed, and innovation.
• Build competitive intelligence frameworks to anticipate shifts in supplier capabilities and market conditions.

Cross-Border Logistics Program Development

• Design, implement, and execute new complex cross-border logistics programs.
• Engineer processes to simplify existing cross-border logistics networks and last-mile delivery, aiming to deliver results while minimizing waste.

Strategic Project Management

• Manage, design, and implement logistics projects and new initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support these projects and ensure alignment with broader business goals.
• Take full management responsibility for ensuring game-changing major projects are delivered and executed successfully, meeting budget, quality, and timeline expectations.
• Conduct regular quantitative and qualitative business-case analyses to improve operational processes and ensure logistics operations are fully equipped to support business growth.

Leadership & Vision

• Hire and develop a high-performing team, cultivating future leaders who can launch, develop, and run cross-border supply chain networks.
• Build and leverage relationships with fulfillment and operational service provider partners to drive negotiation and collaboration.
• Serve as a Senior Leadership team member, helping define and provide forward-looking strategic vision for the business.
