Sales
Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About The Role
The Trade Marketing Manager plays a key role within the country sales team, driving excellence in in store (4P) execution across Key channels/key customers/key accounts. The role will also focus on building expert knowledge in our key categories and sharing this with the customer in order to build long term partnerships and conduct revenue growth management.
Your responsibilities
- Develops country/customer 4P strategies and tactics in line with channel plans.
- Defines Category trade marketing KPIs and manages the trade marketing budget
- Contributes to category marketing plans, with customer & category data analysis and promotional strategy
- Continuous analysis of the customer's position works together with sales manager to recommend in store actions aimed at strengthening Reckitt's position in the category.
- Develops and implements Reckitt's promotional strategy (in line with brand priorities and media plans) across customers.
- Presenting on 4P strategy to our customers
- Key contact for the brand marketing team with regards to all promotional and customer activity.
The experience we're looking for
- Prior trade marketing experience with a fast moving consumer goods company of at least four years, and preferably additional functional experience in either : Sales/Key Account function working with key international retailers, or brand marketing.
- Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating.
- Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
- Leadership, people management and interpersonal skills of building strong working relationships and influencing among customers and internal teams.
- Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral (in English).
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation.
