What You'll Do
As a Senior Business Development Manager based in Taipei, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the reach of advanced chat commerce solutions across multiple sectors. Your day-to-day activities will involve prospecting for new clients using various digital channels, crafting persuasive presentations that address specific pain points, negotiating complex deals with enterprise-level organisations, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Success in this position requires not only a thorough understanding of MarTech/SaaS offerings but also an ability to connect empathetically with clients to uncover their true needs. You will be instrumental in shaping go-to-market strategies while enjoying autonomy over your schedule within a flexible working culture. Your efforts will directly contribute to revenue growth and establish long-term partnerships that drive transformation for both clients and the company.
- Expand market presence by identifying and developing potential mid-to-large enterprise clients within industries such as retail, fast-moving consumer goods, large chain stores, e-commerce, medical aesthetics, food service, and travel.
- Establish and maintain a robust sales pipeline through strategic outreach using LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calling, social media engagement, networking events, and other creative channels.
- Assess potential partnership opportunities with keen judgement to ensure alignment with business objectives and maximise mutual value.
- Consistently achieve monthly sales targets by leveraging your deep knowledge of SaaS/MarTech products and building strong client relationships.
- Educate prospective customers on product features and benefits to foster recognition of value propositions and drive adoption.
- Prepare compelling presentations that clearly communicate complex concepts in an engaging manner to diverse audiences.
- Utilise clear logic and influential communication skills to negotiate deals and close contracts efficiently.
- Proactively uncover new business leads through research and outreach while maintaining accurate records of all interactions in CRM systems.

- Minimum five years' experience in B2B sales within industries such as retail, e-commerce, FMCG, medical aesthetics, food service or travel is essential for this role.
- Demonstrated track record selling MarTech software or SaaS solutions is highly desirable; candidates with direct experience will be prioritised.
- Ability to manage time independently while successfully developing new business leads and closing contracts under performance pressure is required.
- Exceptional communication skills including presentation abilities that allow you to quickly identify client pain points and offer effective solutions are mandatory.
- Proven success operating in multi-tasking environments where attention to detail ensures smooth execution across concurrent projects is expected.
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively within teams towards shared goals demonstrates your commitment to communal achievement.
- Adaptability to rapid changes typical of start-up environments is crucial for thriving in this dynamic setting.
- Basic technical know-how related to chat commerce platforms or similar technologies is considered a strong advantage for this position.
