Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Overview
The Supplier Quality Engineer ensures the quality of materials, parts, and components from manufacturing partners for Cooler Master's thermal cooling solutions through supplier oversight, quality control, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Quality Management
- Supervise supply quality of contracted components and establish quality inspection specifications
- Ensure incoming materials meet design requirements and drawing specifications
- Address quality issues with suppliers and supervise improvement
New Product Development Support
- Collaborate with suppliers to review mass production feasibility of engineering specifications
- Evaluate inspection methods and testing instruments for new components
- Report supplier production limitations to R&D teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Track supplier improvements and report performance to internal departments
- Assist R&D in integrating supplier production knowledge and measurement technology
- Coordinate IQC inspection procedures for design changes
Supplier Development
- Communicate component requirements to new suppliers
- Identify and report supplier production bottlenecks or quality alerts
- Prepare and conduct internal SQE training courses
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum of 3-5 years supplier quality engineering experience, preferably in ODM manufacturing
- Quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
- Quality tools (8D, SPC, FMEA, APQP, 6 Sigma)
