Job Overview
The Quality PM serves as the primary liaison between our organization and customers regarding all quality-related matters. This role is responsible for maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive quality management, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all quality-related customer communication and serve as the main point of contact for customer quality issues and requirements
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to foster trust and partnership
- Facilitate regular quality review meetings and business reviews with key customers
- Analyze, compile, review, and regularly report customer quality metrics such as production First Pass Yield (FPY), Return Material Authorization (RMA), and Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR)
- Proactively address customer complaints and feedback with urgency and thoroughness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to develop effective corrective actions and preventive actions
- Document and present Failure Analysis and Corrective Action (FACA) reports in standardized 8D format
- Lead customer audit preparation activities including documentation review, facility preparation, and team coordination
- Ensure continuous compliance with company quality standards and customer-specific requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a customer-facing role
- Required skills include: Cross-Functional Communication, Failure Analysis, 8D, QC Tools, FMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, GD&T
