Position Impact:

As a key technical role in Supplier Quality Management, this position is responsible for ensuring the quality consistency and compliance of suppliers during New Product Introduction (NPI) and mass production stages. By conducting systematic supplier audits, managing quality issues, and driving continuous improvement, the role strengthens supplier quality capabilities, effectively reduces incoming defects and manufacturing risks, and ensures product reliability and delivery stability. This role collaborates closely with R&D, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams, and serves as the company's representative in communicating quality standards and improvement plans with suppliers. The position has a significant impact on product quality, customer satisfaction, and overall operational performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a coordinator and integrator for cross-functional quality initiatives, leading the team to achieve project goals and quality targets.
  • Guide and support suppliers in establishing key quality documentation and process capabilities (e.g., PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to analyze quality issues, implement 8D and root cause analysis tools to ensure effective corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits (including process, system, and product audits), identify potential risks, and ensure implementation of improvement plans.
  • Utilize data analysis techniques (e.g., defect trend analysis, CPK/PPK metrics) to continuously improve supplier quality performance.
  • Support internal quality improvement projects and department-level goals, and help establish standardized processes and operational procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality management for electronic components or modules; EMS management experience is a plus.
  • Familiar with SMT manufacturing processes and supplier quality audits and process improvement.
  • Proficient in IATF16949 core tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plan).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and experience using instruments such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively with R&D, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Willingness to travel within the Asia region on an occasional basis; strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
  • Proficient in English communication (speaking, reading, and writing), with the ability to produce reports and participate in meetings in English.
