What You'll Do

• Collaborate closely with customers to manage SSD debugging and qualification requirements by working alongside engineering teams to overcome hardware, firmware, and platform-related challenges.
• Act as a key interface between customers and internal platform partners to resolve product issues while leveraging insights gained to influence future controller and firmware product definitions.
• Promote the technical advantages of enterprise controllers at the platform level by creating preference for these products within customer ecosystems and enabling adoption through effective support tools.
• Execute detailed technical product qualifications tailored to specific customer needs, ensuring robust performance standards are met across various platforms.
• Develop comprehensive competitive analyses focused on customer-specific scenarios to inform strategic decision-making and product positioning.
• Conduct end-user visits with OEM/ODM partners to gather feedback, provide technical guidance, and strengthen long-term business relationships.
• Prepare and deliver engaging technical presentations and content that clearly communicate complex concepts to both small groups and large audiences of domain experts.
• Advocate for customer technical requirements internally by communicating needs effectively to stakeholders across engineering, sales, and programme management teams.
• Drive cross-functional teams towards meeting customer expectations by coordinating efforts between sales, engineering, and project management functions.
• Participate actively in customer meetings as a trusted technical adviser, consultant, analyst, and programme manager in collaboration with project management teams.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field is required for this position.
• A minimum of five years' experience configuring, optimising, and testing server or storage system products or other complex systems is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with suppliers or customers to clarify requirements, manage expectations sensitively, and resolve sophisticated engineering or engagement challenges.
• Proficiency with SATA/PCIe (NVMe) protocols is necessary for success in this role due to the nature of the products involved.
• Excellent communication skills are needed for summarising technical concepts clearly when creating collateral or delivering training sessions to varied audiences.
• Experience executing technical product qualifications tailored to specific client needs is highly desirable for this position.
• Strong analytical abilities are required for conducting competitive analyses that inform strategic decisions within the business context.
• A proven track record of advocating for customer needs internally by effectively communicating across multiple stakeholder groups is important.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with OEM/ODM partners through end-user visits and ongoing support activities is expected.
• Familiarity with acting as a technical adviser or consultant during customer meetings or presentations would be advantageous.
