Job Description:

We are seeking a Field Application Engineer with a strong background in electron microscopy, bioimaging, or materials science. The FAE will support pre- and post-sales activities, including product demonstrations, sample preparation guidance, workflow optimization, and customer training for the AI-powered STEM platform.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct on-site demos, technical workshops, and training for customers in biomedical and nanomaterials research.


• Assist sales team with technical presentations, proposal support, and customized solution development.


• Help customers design experimental workflows leveraging AI-assisted STEM imaging and analysis.


• Develop application notes and contribute to co-authored publications with strategic partners.


• Gather customer feedback to guide R&D and product roadmap improvements.


• Collaborate closely with marketing and engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications:


• Master's degree or PhD in materials science, biomedical engineering, biology, or physics.


• 3–8 years of hands-on experience with TEM/STEM imaging, sample prep, or EM-based analysis.


• Familiarity with biological EM workflows or ultramicrotomy is a plus.


• Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills.


• Self-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a startup environment.
