As we continue expanding our footprint in the APAC region, we are looking for a
Finance Director
to join our Taiwan team and work closely with the founding team. This role is ideal for someone with finance management experience in multinational corporations or tech companies, who is now looking to take on a broader, hands-on role in a high-growth startup environment. You will play a key role in driving financial discipline, leading fundraising activities, building foundational processes, and partnering with leadership on strategic decisions.
【Core Duties】
Strategic Finance & Business Support
- Partner with the CEO and cross-functional leads to align financial planning with company strategy
- Build and manage financial models for long-term planning, investment decisions, and performance tracking
- Provide financial insights and scenario analyses to support pricing, cost optimization, and international growth
- Support fundraising activities
including preparing investor materials, managing due diligence, and coordinating with legal and financial advisors - Act as a key finance liaison with investors
, helping to communicate financial performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives
Financial Operations & Compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Oversee financial operations including accounting, tax, audit, and treasury functions
- Coordinate with external CPA firms, legal advisors, and banking partners across multiple geographies
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and internal financial policies
Internal Controls & Process Development
- Design and implement scalable financial processes and controls suitable for a rapidly growing tech business
- Own the monthly financial close process and reporting accuracy
- Evaluate and implement tools/systems (e.g., ERP or cloud accounting software) to improve efficiency
【Qualification】
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably with experience in both multinational corporations and startups/scaleups
- Proven experience in fundraising or investor relations
, such as managing Series A/B/C rounds, or working closely with venture capital / private equity firms - Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Familiarity with global operations and cross-border tax/accounting considerations
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Highly organized, hands-on, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with cloud accounting systems is a plus
