Overview of role

This role will be based in Taichung city, Taiwan. The role is to build, maintain, and manage relationship management for the assigned channels and to achieve sales target. 

Responsibility

  • Establish and cultivate long-term strategic business partnerships with influencers and decision-makers by offering solutions and promoting Schroders' capabilities.
  • Strengthen relationships with insurance agents and branch sales teams to increase product penetration and market share through branch roadshows, visits, seminars, and sales events.
  • Deepen relationships with existing distributors while also expanding business opportunities with under-developed distributors.
  • Stay informed about clients' needs and identify potential business opportunities. Collaborate with account managers, team head, and provide timely feedback to develop strategic solutions to capture these opportunities.
  • Provide support to the team head and account managers in achieving team goals.
  • Execute agreed-upon plans and fulfill assigned duties effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of intermediary sales experience
  • With experience in handling insurance channel/ bancassurance/ bank would be a plus
  • SITCA SITE/SICE or Senior Broker License is required.
  • University graduate or above

Essential Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationship with channel partners and engage with people
  • Good articulation and presentation skills
  • Teamwork mindset
  • Previous experience of driving successful channel sales
  • Good business astute and good business risk conduct

Desirable Skills

  • Good command of English is preferred.
  • Self -driven, highly motivated, ambitious.
