Technical Program Manager - Server Validation"
to onsite
Inventec
-
Daxi office
in Taiwan.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the project, communication, resource plans & processes
- Analyze all management and technical processes to ensure they're delivered as expected
- Meet regularly w/ project stakeholders and define project goals & objectives
- Lead budget and resource allocation through all project phases
- Schedule project timelines
- Make estimates for the budget & schedule
- Generate regular reports to update stakeholders and manage projects
- Establish and train teams on processes & strategies
- Oversee day-to-day technical operations, incl. assignments and personnel review
- Define roles & responsibilities of the team and determine clear deliverables
- Keeping up to date on industry standards & regulations
- Managing a Server Validation Team of engineers
Qualifications
- B.S. & above in Computer Science, and Engineering related
- 7-yr of
HW & IT project
exp. - Exp. in
Server validation
is a MUST. - HW & FW testing
exp. is a MUST - Working exp. in
ODM companies
is a MUST (i.e. Quanta, Foxconn, Wistron, Inventec, Pegatron, Compal, etc.) - Strong
communication
skills & ability to explain
technical
details clearly in
English
&
Mandarin
(both verbal & written). It's very important to communicate w/ worldwide teams in
Taiwan
, US,
India, Vietnam
, etc. - Strong
leadership
qualities & ability to motivate a wide variety of teams associated w/ the project. - Clear communication skills to
guide
project teams and
coordinate
w/ client & management - Exp. w/
project management
, strategic planning and risk management. - Extensive industry knowledge w/ an eye towards the future.
Other qualifications
- Bilingual
capability is required (Mandarin & English).
Mandarin
speaking/reading is essential skill in
HCLTech
Taiwan. - Soft Skills: Good listener, positive attitude, sense of humor, open minded, respect, patience, resolving issues, delegation, etc.
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
- Excellent time management & organizational skills, and exp. establishing guidelines in these areas for others
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making
- Must demonstrate initiative & ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Exp. working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- Managerial exp. applying analytical thinking & problem-solving skills
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
- Can work independently (e.g. manage tasks to complete on time, etc.)
- Can work under pressure
- Can adapt to fast-paced environment
