Job Details
The role will independently work with cross-functional teams to lead multiple projects at the same time, from ID concept to mass production in fast-paced product development cycles for delivering great products to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Create and evaluate new product concepts
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of material, component, and process
- 3D modeling and engineering drawing drafting
- Troubleshooting of design, tooling, and production issues
- Perform tests and conduct engineering analysis
- Competitive product analysis (Component/Material/Process/Mechanism/BOM Cost)
- Explore and analyze new material, technology, and manufacturing processes
Basic Qualifications
- Expressed interest in mechanical engineering in the working industry
- Demonstrated aptitude for creative, "out of the box" thinking
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn new things
- Understanding of basic mechanics, material science, tooling, and manufacturing.
- Good root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Great communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional team members and suppliers
- Fluency in English
Technical Requirements
- Proficient in 3D CAD tools (Solidworks preferred)
- Great ability to solve problems with statistical tools.
- Experienced in display/weatherproof/rugged/sensor product design.
