Taiwan Ubiquiti Inc. Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Mechanical DQA Engineer is responsible for all mechanical reliability and quality test plans and executions. This role has a considerable effect on new product development to help the team explore potential risks during the NPI stage.

Responsibilities

  • Review PDR and generate a mechanical test plan
  • Evaluate the product's reliability and quality during the NPI stage
  • Work with the team to resolve reliability and quality issues
  • Create and maintain relevant documentation
  • Do the research on safety/reliability standards and improve the test plan accordingly

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 years of Mechanical DQA engineering
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering
  • Good understanding of reliability test standards (Theory / Approach / Criteria)
  • Excellent problem analysis and solving capabilities
  • Great communication skills to work with the team and 3rd party labs
  • Passionate about exploring new regulations/standards/technologies
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented personality
  • Fair English speaking and writing skills

Technical Requirements

  • Work experience in outdoor equipment/power products/automotive devices
  • Practical experience of dealing with problems with statistical tools, such as Six Sigma, DOE, Gauge R&R, DFMEA, etc.
