Position Overview:
The
Assistant Sales Manager, Industrial Application
at Nestlé Professional will play a crucial role in driving sales and managing customer relationships within the foodservice sector. This position involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing inventory, and ensuring the achievement of performance targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the food ingredient industry and operational processes within food and beverage manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Management
-Regularly visit clients to build and maintain strong relationships.
-Develop tailored sales strategies and proposals to meet customer needs.
-Create and implement innovative food ingredient solutions for clients.
- Performance and Inventory Management
-Establish sales performance goals and inventory management plans.
-Oversee customer order processing and logistics to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Industry Knowledge
-Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the food ingredient industry and the operational dynamics of food and beverage factories.
-Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to better serve clients.
- Distributor Management
-Manage distributors effectively, including inventory control and sales tracking.
-Handle related business operations to ensure smooth supply chain processes.
- Market and Competitive Analysis
-Conduct market research to gather insights on market trends and competitor activities.
-Utilize market information to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Sales, preferably within the foodservice (B2B) or food ingredient industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
