Main tasks and responsibilities
General Objective (70%)
- Lead and assist KA teams to determine the strategic direction of accounts and establish account development plans to address the strategic needs of HOYA and PENTAX brands and optometry professionals.
- Lead the review and findings of main optical chain stores performance and provide insights to the sales team to set better development plans and execution methods.
- Manage working relationships between all internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of HOYA and PENTAX brand goals.
- Proactively identify opportunities and critical issues and communicate them to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate product management functions such as item demand forecasting, annual budget management and supply management functions.
- Assist and manage the KA team to achieve annual performance targets.
Contract /Campaign (30%)
Negotiation and formulation of annual sales contracts for each channel.
Assist with quotations for new products.
Develop quarterly promotional campaign and proposals for each channel.
- Build strong, trusted partnerships with decision-makers, optometrists and practice managers.
- Set clear, measurable objectives (sales targets, share of wallet, category growth).
- Achieve or exceed sales targets, including volume, value, and product mix (e.g., Progressive multifocal lenses and Single Vision lenses)
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, customer service and finance to support account needs.
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform internal strategy.
- Deliver or coordinate product training and technical support for customer staff.

- Education: Bachelor's degree or above. (optometry graduates are preferred)
- Experience : More than 8 years of experience in vision care relevant work environments (national optical chain stores cooperation experience is preferred) / More than 5 years of management experience in national key account channel.
- Knowledge and hard skills: Good communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills / Good English ability to read, write and communication.
- Behavioral Attributes: Initiative, proactiveness, and independence / Willingness to take challenge /Achieving Results .
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for up to 25% of the time on average
