Role Description

This is a contract-based, on-site role in Taipei City for a Deskside Support Technician. The role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining information technology systems. The Deskside Support Technician will be expected to assist end-users with day-to-day tech-related concerns and ensure prompt resolution of IT issues while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting, with a hands-on ability to diagnose and resolve IT-related problems effectively.
  • Knowledge and experience in Information Technology, including hardware, software, and systems administration.
  • Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to users with varied technical knowledge levels.
  • Familiarity with common Software and applications used in corporate environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
  • Prior experience in a deskside or technical support role is preferred.
