【Typical Accountabilities】

  • Lead the Firmware team, focusing on advancing our vision of a smart guitar world, by managing and inspiring MCU Firmware Engineers and other firmware team members.

  • Drive the architecture and development of innovative firmware solutions, ensuring integration with our vision of transforming musical experiences.

  • Translate visionary product requirements into engineering excellence, aligning firmware development with our ambitious business objectives and innovative product strategies.

  • Spearheaded the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, embodying our commitment to risk mitigation, technical excellence, and market-defining products.

  • Foster a culture of technical and innovative excellence, leading by example in code reviews, design discussions, and problem-solving sessions.

  • Facilitate effective collaboration across cross-functional teams to create products that revolutionize the modern musician's experience.

  • Provide strategic oversight on project management, ensuring alignment with our core growth strategy of delivering exceptional products and customer experiences.

【Essential】

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in firmware development, with proven leadership in managing innovative firmware projects.

  • Proficiency in C/C++ and a deep understanding of hardware interfaces and MCU functionalities.

  • Demonstrated ability in managing complex firmware development projects,

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and assertively, effectively delegate tasks, and empower team members.

  • Extensive experience with FreeRTOS and familiarity with ARM Cortex-M processors and CMSIS library.

  • Experience in collaborating with OEMs to make a hardware product from EVT to mass production.

  • Experience in proactive problem identification and resolution, particularly in cross-team collaborations.

【Desirable】

  • Strong knowledge in music audio technology, including digital signal processing (DSP) and MIDI implementation.

  • Additional certifications or training in project management, leadership, or related areas.

  • Experience in IoT product development and a strong interest in AI integration.

  • A track record of innovation in firmware development, particularly in consumer electronics or music technology.

  • Experience working in a multicultural, international environment.

  • Passion for music technology and a drive to be part of a top-tier, innovative company.

  • Experienced in the music technology or related consumer technology industries.

  • Knowledge in wireless communication technology like BLE and Wi-Fi.
