We're Delta Solution Office (DSO). DSO serves as a critical enabler for solution transformation in Delta. DSO is a corporate function collaborating with Delta's business groups and regions to design, develop, and pilot solution business management mechanisms and initiatives across Delta.

Role Overview

The Software Architect will lead the design and evolution of a
modular, scalable, and secure software platform
that enables cross-domain solution integration for Delta. This role will bridge
technology strategy and execution
, ensuring architectural integrity while empowering development teams to deliver high-quality, high-performance solutions.

  1. Platform Architecture & Design

  2. Architect a
    modular, cloud-native, and scalable
    platform to support multi-domain SW/SCADA solution development in smart energy, data centers, and building automation.

  3. Define
    technical frameworks, system architecture, data interface and development guidelines
    to ensure quality, security and consistency across teams.

  4. Align with
    corporate platform teams
    to leverage shared assets, adapt for regional requirements, and maintain architectural coherence.

  5. Technical Leadership & Integration

  6. Oversee company's
    backend services, middleware, data pipelines
    ,
    SCADA solutions
    and extensibility mechanisms for seamless integration.

  7. Guide BUs' development teams, balancing deep technical insight with business objectives.

  8. Lead technical validation, architecture reviews, and readiness assessments before deployment.

  9. DevSecOps & Agile Enablement

  10. Champion
    DevSecOps practices, CI/CD automation, and containerized deployments
    to boost development velocity, reliability, and security.

  11. Promote
    Agile/Scrum
    methodologies and best practices for iterative, value-driven delivery.

Required:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field.
  2. 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in
    platform/system architecture
    .
  3. Strong expertise in
    backend architecture, system integration, and data interfaces, and cybersecurity
    .
  4. Proven ability to build
    scalable, cloud-native systems
    using microservices and event-driven patterns.
  5. Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python) and relational/non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
  6. Experience with
    SCADA systems utilizing industrial communication protocols
    such as Modbus, BACnet, and IEC 61850
  7. Familiarity with
    real-time data processing and orchestration
    tools (e.g., Kafka, MQTT, Airflow).
  8. Practical experience with
    DevOps, CI/CD tools, and container orchestration
    (Docker, Kubernetes).
  9. Proven leadership in
    cross-functional, multinational environments
    .
  10. Fluent in English and Chinese

Preferred:

  1. Experience with
    data-driven industrial platforms
    (e.g., DCIM, BEMS, IIoT, SCADA).
  2. Track record of deploying
    large-scale software platforms

  3. Exposure to frontend frameworks and BI tools (e.g., React, Superset).
