Responsibilities

  • Lead automotive display panel R&D projects from concept, design, validation to mass production, ensuring compliance with OEM requirements.
  • Act as the key technical interface with global Tier-1 suppliers and OEM engineering teams.
  • Define and execute panel development strategy, including optical, electrical, reliability, EMC and safety validation.
  • Track and implement next-generation display technologies such as OLED, Oxide TFT, miniLED backlight, and microLED.
  • Work closely with supply chain partners (driver IC, polariser, touch panel, cover glass, glues) to optimize design and cost competitiveness.
  • RFQ technical review and proposal preparation, including aligning customer cost targets while ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Drive team execution, resource allocation, and milestone management.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or above in Electronics, Optoelectronics, Materials, or related fields.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of automotive display panel design (optical, electrical, thermal, and mechanical).
  • Hands-on experience with automotive panel specifications, validation standards and reliability testing.
  • Solid knowledge of display industry trends: OLED, Oxide TFT, miniLED, microLED, curved/transparent displays.
  • Demonstrated team leadership and multi-project management experience.

Language Ability

  • Fluent English communication skills for technical discussion, reporting, and presentations.
