
Greater China Finance Controller

Our client is now looking to hire an experienced Controller of Greater China to undertake all aspects of financial management, including management, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation and financial risk management.
Position: Financial Controller, Greater China
Report to: CFO, APAC
Team: 6 (Taiwan /China)
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including AR, AP, GL and revenue recognition
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and relevant financial information
- Direct month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting
- Manage and comply with regulatory reporting requirements and tax filings
- Business partnering with the functional stakeholders and business heads in key areas of decision support and opportunities in the market
- Delivering analysis and business insights to enhance business operating performance
- Estimate funds required for the short- and long-term financial objectives of the organization
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance /Accounting and proven working experience as a business controller. CPA is a plus.
- At least 10 years of experience managerial and / or team leadership position
- Thorough knowledge of IFRS 15 and US GAAP
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think big picture and work in detail (hands-on mentality)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
