We are seeking an Electrical Principal Engineer with expertise in embedded power and battery systems to join our Core Hardware Development Team in Taipei.

Your primary responsibility will be to participate in the development of next-generation large-scale AI Infrastructure, focusing on power systems architecture design and analysis. You will engage with global cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, high-reliability, and secure solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance on key power system technologies and design development processes aimed at improving innovation, automation, agility, team efficiency, and quality.
  • Design power systems for Storage/Server products, including power architecture design, CPU/DIMM VRD design, Intel CPU VRTT validations, power-related analog circuit design, Li-ion battery charging/discharging circuit design.
  • Specify procured components and sub-assemblies, including dc/dc modules, dc/dc point-of-load converters, power semiconductor and passive components, battery backup systems.
Requirements
  • 8+ years' experience in Power Systems Design and Development, including DC-DC Power Conversion, Power Distribution, Electrical Circuit Protection Features, and Battery Chargers.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding specifications, data sheets, and other technical documents.
  • Advanced ability to write requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, tech plans, and documentation.
  • Understanding of related power technologies, vendor products, and industry offerings.
