Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor the credit portfolio of the Consumer Banking segment, ensuring adherence to risk management policies and guidelines
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the credit portfolio, balancing risk and return
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential credit risks
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide recommendations to senior management
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of credit risk models and analytics
- Assist in the implementation of credit risk management initiatives and process improvements
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk management or portfolio management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Proficient in the use of data analysis tools, i.e. Python, SQL, Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across different functions
